Focused Shockwave Benefits Targeting Inflammation

Shockwave technology has been around since the 1970s, initially used to break down kidney stones.

Nowadays, focused shockwave energy is used to treat musculoskeletal injuries such as tendinopathy, arthritis, plantar fasciitis, neuropathy, scar adhesions, and fibrosis.

Focused Shockwave transmits acoustic waves straight to the affected tissue, creating controlled microtrauma. This mechanical stress triggers various cellular responses essential for tissue repair and regeneration. Shockwave speeds up the healing process by enhancing angiogenesis, stem cell migration, and fibroblast activity. Tissue repair is hastened by improving tissue strength, elasticity, and functionality.

Effects on Tissue:

1. Angiogenesis: stimulates the formation of new blood vessels in the target tissue. Bringing new oxygenated and nutrient-rich blood to promote enhanced tissue healing.

2. Stem Cell Migration: Triggers mesenchymal stem cells for regeneration.
